La storia, ispirata dall'opera di Mikhail Bulgakov, segue tuttavia un percorso alternativo rispetto al racconto originale. Uno scienziato solitario, un cane randagio che vive nella foresta, il segreto della vita... sentimenti di umana incompletezza, la distanza insormontabile tra l'Uomo e le sue origini naturali.

Purtroppo, per mancanza di fondi, l'idea iniziale di lungometraggio ha lasciato posto a un mediometraggio di circa 45 minuti che tuttavia cerca di affrontare i temi principali suggeriti dalla sceneggiatura.

Le riprese hanno spaziato per tutta la Toscana (Pistoia, Prato, Firenze, Siena, etc).

La produzione è iniziata a marzo 2022 e terminata in quasi 6 mesi.

La postproduzione è stata lunga e difficoltosa, rallentata dalla natura profondamente indipendente del progetto (leggasi: mancanza di pecunia), e si è finalmente conclusa a ottobre/novembre 2025.

Ad oggi, il mediometraggio è in lizza in diversi festival internazionali.

The story, inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov's novel, takes a different path from the original work. A lonely scientist, a stray dog living in the forest, the secret of life... feelings of human incompleteness, the insormountable distance between us and our natural origins.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of funds, the initial idea for a feature film has been replaced by a medium-length film (45 minutes), which, however, still aims to address the main themes suggested by the script.

Locations are situated all over Tuscany (Pistoia, Prato, Firenze, Siena and other nearby areas).

Production has started as of March 2022 and took almost 6 months.

The post-production was long and challenging, slowed down by the deeply independent nature of the project (read: lack of funds), and was finally completed in October/November 2025.

As of today, the medium-length film is in the running at several international festivals.
